Meow, my name is Barbara Jean and I`m a soulful little lady looking for my forever home! As a self-described couch potato, I absolutely adore lounging around all day and getting lots of snuggles and pets. But don`t let my laid-back nature fool you - I`m also a shy girl who takes a little time to warm up to new people and environments. Once I get comfy though, you`ll find me purring up a storm and following you around, hoping for more cuddles and attention. I may not be the life of the party, but I sure do make up for it with my sweet, gentle demeanor. So if you`re looking for a feline friend to serenade you with happy meows and cuddle sessions, I`m your gal! Let`s make beautiful music together.

Adoption Fees:
Dogs 7 months and older: $95
Puppies 6 months and younger: $300
Cats 7 months and older: $45
Kittens 6 months and younger: $150
Rabbits: $35
Guinea pigs: $15

Adoption fees for dogs and cats include:
First vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, deworming and flea preventative.

All cats and kittens have been tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).

All dogs and puppies have received heartworm preventative, and dogs/puppies over the age of six months have been tested for heartworms.

All rabbits are spayed or neutered.

The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million.
