Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meow, my name is Barbara Jean and I`m a soulful little lady looking for my forever home! As a self-described couch potato, I absolutely adore lounging around all day and getting lots of snuggles and pets. But don`t let my laid-back nature fool you - I`m also a shy girl who takes a little time to warm up to new people and environments. Once I get comfy though, you`ll find me purring up a storm and following you around, hoping for more cuddles and attention. I may not be the life of the party, but I sure do make up for it with my sweet, gentle demeanor. So if you`re looking for a feline friend to serenade you with happy meows and cuddle sessions, I`m your gal! Let`s make beautiful music together. How did I get here? Surrendered when our owner could no longer care for us.
~My adoption fee is $65.00~

More about this rescue
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.
The mission of the SPCA is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption.
The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million. The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
