My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bonnie! Bonnie is a lovely 6-year-old cat with a calm and independent nature. She enjoys spending her days relaxing in cozy spots, watching the world go by. While she’s not overly demanding, she does love gentle pets and will happily curl up next to you when she’s ready for some affection. Bonnie has a curious side too—she’s always eager to explore her surroundings and go on solo adventures, making her the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a cat that enjoys her own space but will still be by your side.

Bonnie's adoption fee is only $110 and includes her spay, microchip, age-appropriate vaccines, and preventatives. If you are looking for a new best friend, you can apply to adopt her at https://agcshelter.org/adopt-1

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

We have a short questionnaire that can be filled out before or during the meet and greet. We do not use the questionnaire to "approve".

2.

Interview

We utilize conversational adoption. This may happen during the meet and greet or via phone before a meet and greet.

3.

Meet the Pet

4.

Pay Fee

Our cat adoption fee is $110, $150 if you adopt a pair, and our dog adoption fee is $175.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

6.

Take the Pet Home

You can bring your own carrier or we can provide a cardboard carrier for an additional $5.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is meant to reduce barriers to adoption. We have a simple questionnaire that does not determine if the adopter is "approved" or "denied" and then we have a conversation about their lifestyle, home environment, and what they are looking for in a pet.

Go meet their pets

Come meet our cats Tuesday through Friday from 1 pm to 3 pm in our open-concept adoption space! Here, you can sit and spend time with our kitties in a relaxed environment to get to know each personality. While we currently don't have dogs in the building, we do have dogs in foster care. If you're interested in meeting one of them, please contact us to arrange a time with their foster family.
