My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! My name`s Gryff! I`m a big boy, but I`m full of love! I`m super sweet and I love to get lots of attention. I`m also a bit silly and have a really big personality. I love to be outside and go for hikes and be in nature. I would do best with a home that will give me all the attention they can, as sometimes I am not good at sharing the spotlight with other pets. My biggest wish is to be in a home of my own with people who will give me lots of love!

I was previously in a foster home, and here is what my foster dad said about me: `Gryff is the perfect blend of wanting to lounge around and having active zoomies. He is well-mannered, potty-trained, and respectful of space. He seems to have had some training and knows commands like sit, stay, drop it, and lay down. He also has good recall and does well on the leash. He can get excited when he sees other dogs or people, and starts to pull and whine, but he is overall good on walks. He likes to play with his toys, chase his tail, and chew on bones. He`s been sleeping in a kennel through the night with no issues. During the day I leave him out, and when I monitor him on the camera, he is in various positions sleeping on his dog bed soaking up the sunshine.`

If you want to add a big, loveable goofball like me to your family, please call TCRAS at 719-686-7707 and let them know you would like to meet me!

Additional adoption info

To adopt:
All adoptions must be done in person. Visit the shelter to meet the adoptable animals you would like to consider. TCRAS is open 6 days a week, please see hours of operation.

Your visit with each animal will be assisted by a trained adoption specialist to answer questions, address concerns and to help you decide if the animal is a good fit for your home environment (i.e. children, other pets, specific needs, etc). You can also bring in your current pets to do a visitation (this may be required with certain animals).
