My name is DeeDee!

DeeDee is our foster that we'd LOVE to find a furever home. She's a 2&1/2 year old pitbull mix and weighs 50-55. She was found living under a house starving at 9 months old. She's a LOVELY sweet girl but its imperative that she goes to a home where she's the only dog. She does have reactivity towards other dogs (that can lead to aggression) but is wonderful with people and can acclimate to other animals with training. VERY smart, knows basic commands, crate trained, super eager to please, submissive personality with people. She's very protective of the home. She walks well on leash and thrives with boundaries, jobs/training challenges and limitations. She's spayed, UTD on shots and heartworm. Her perfect home will be with someone who is active, will walk her daily, lets her cuddle and sleep indoors, has a fenced yard for safe zoomies, but has calm, assertive leadership (not physical). Any potential home will be vetted because DeeDee deserves the world and her furever person/people.
