Meet Candy Corn! This 4 year old dachshund mix weighs 32 pounds and is ready to chill with you. Candy Corn's fosters say that he's an easy going pup, who will happily take a long walk with you or just hang out at home. He still gets nervous being left alone, but he's house trained and will happily hang in his crate. Will you bring Candy Corn home for halloween?

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
