We adopted Pippen when she was about three months old. She’d been in a really crappy situation and it took her some time to get comfortable with us and with her new space. We were patient with her and it paid off - she is sweet, loving, and a big goofball. She is a mixture of a lot of herding breeds, so she was always interested in our cats, but was never aggressive until very recently. We’ve consulted behavioralists, trainers, and our vet who all advised a rehome. She loves walks/runs, playing with her ball in the backyard, and chasing squirrels. She is a bit of a runner sometimes, so either a lot of property or a fenced in yard would be best. She is anxious so we give her doggy Prozac, which has helped immensely. We love her so much and hope to find a better home for her without any cats. She’s been great with other dogs, so/so with kids - she wants to herd them up, but has done so gently, but gets scared if they approach her. We hope you will consider her to add to your family.
