Willow is a beautiful 2-1/2 year old female American Pit Bull Terrier mix who was brought to the HSOV on October 19, 2024 by a Good Samaritan who had found her on Blennerhassett Avenue in Belpre Ohio and kept her safe for several weeks.
Willow has a chocolate brown short smooth coat with a white bib on her chest, white paws, a long tail, and an adorable symmetrically-marked face with pale brown eyes, a red/liver-colored nose, and semi-erect ears.
The Good Samaritan who had Willow in her home for awhile reported that Willow was good with the adults in the home but that she did not get along with cats and was selective about which dogs she got along with. Willow is housetrained. She has some missing hair (likely due to allergies) on her hind quarters and tail.
These photos were taken late in the afternoon on October 19th when HSOV Kennel Tech Emily Beaver accompanied Willow for outdoor photos.
Willow weighs 49.5 lbs and walked fairly well on a leash for Emily.
