Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
In all our years of caring for homeless animals, we have always had a special place in our hearts for seniors. Cinder was allegedly taken to a local veterinarian to be euthanized after 9 1/2 years in her home. Cinder really needs your help! She is a sweet senior dog! She was surrendered because the owners were `unable to meet her mental needs. She wants constant attention and can be destructive when she feels unseen.` In other words, she is a big kid who can throw a tantrum when she doesn`t get what she wants. Me, too. lol. Cinder is housebroken and crate trained. That`s a huge help. If she can`t be supervised and loved on, she will probably need to be crated. As we are just getting to know Cinder, a meet and greet with other dogs would be best. She can be protective of her food and toys! For this reason, we would not recommend she go to a home with small children. She has snapped and growled in those instances. Remember the birds in Nemo? `Mine, mine, mine, mine`. Cinder is not big on sharing anything except lots and lots of love. Let`s make sure she gets that in her golden years! Cinder is spayed, microchipped, current on core vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms. Let`s not let Cinder`s hopes go up in smoke.
