My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nick has his mask all ready to go just in time for Halloween at his new home! Isn't he the cutest???? Nick is a 5 month old Hound mix that came to our rescue from Florida during Hurricane Milton evacuations (Florida shelters needed to clear space for animals displaced by the hurricane). He came with three just as beautiful siblings who are all sweet and snuggly as can be. Due to his young age we think he would do best in a household with kids over the age of 8. Nick loves to play outside, gets along with other dogs and is a general all around great dog. Some of his siblings are a little too fond of cats, if you catch our drift, so we think it would be best if he's in a household without cats. Other than that he's just about as perfect as can be! If you're interested in meeting Nick please fill out an application at www.humanetomorrow.org.

Submit Application

You may complete an application via our website at http://www.humanetomorrow.org/adopt/.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.

Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats

Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs

The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.

Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.

More about this rescue

Humane Tomorrow is a non-profit 501(c), all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of unwanted and abused animals in Flower Mound and the surrounding areas. We are also committed to spay/neuter assistance and education to companion animal guardians.

We do not have a shelter, so all animals in our program are placed in temporary foster homes until permanent homes can be found.
