Find your new tail-wagging buddy in Chloe,

Chloe is the sweetest, most adorable Labrador mix you'll ever meet.

The story of how Chloe met her foster is extremely heartwarming: While at work Chloe, who had been stray and alone for a little while, approached her foster and nudged him a little bit. He didn't even notice her at first until she continued to nudge him. As her foster worked Chloe followed him around for a while, 4 miles down the road to be exact!

Chloe would go to the ends of the earth to show someone her love. Her confidence radiates everywhere she goes!

At Chloe's foster she loves to take care of their itty bitty foster kitties. She's taken on a very maternal, loving role with them. She does great with other dogs, and takes no funny business at all! If another dog or person bullies or messed with Chloe she'll mess with you back! No one treats her any less than she deserves.

Chloe has a lot of energy, demonstrated by how much she loves to dig and jump! Chloe's foster's best memory of her is how she jumps and twirls and spins like a ballerina when they play.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
