My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet George! He recently arrived from a shelter affected by Hurricane Milton. He is about 5 months old and weighs 27 lbs. We think he is a Black Lab mix, possibly part Mastiff or part hound. He has a beautiful black, silky coat and big, soulful eyes. George is a loving, playful, silly puppy who is ready for his forever home. George is friendly with everyone and should be ok with kids over the age of 6. He gets along with the dogs and cats in his foster home. He is crate trained and making good progress on potty and leash training. The first step to meeting George is to submit an application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Submit Application

You may complete an application via our website at http://www.humanetomorrow.org/adopt/.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.

Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats

Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs

The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.

Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.

More about this rescue

Humane Tomorrow is a non-profit 501(c), all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of unwanted and abused animals in Flower Mound and the surrounding areas. We are also committed to spay/neuter assistance and education to companion animal guardians.

We do not have a shelter, so all animals in our program are placed in temporary foster homes until permanent homes can be found.
