Meet Akira and Dorian - DOUBLE the LOVE and SNUGGLES - BONDED LAP THERAPY SWEET - VIDEO
Bonded pairs are THE best - but we believe this pair is even BETTER than the BEST!! Dorian (age 8) and Akira (age 11) - chonky chonks - king and queen of purring and head butting - best buds who are crazy fuzzy adorable. These GORGEOUS BEAUTIES were very loved but their owner passed and family members cannot keep them - truly a sad tale! They had been raised with love and spoiled all their lives so we are picky about their new home situation to make sure transition goes smoothly. They are FRIENDLY beyond belief so should transition easy. Love laps and a place to call home in their senior years.

These two are suited for any home situation - they love quiet companionship with adults or a home with older kids doting on them - and are great with all other pets. Once relaxed, we know they will be affectionate, super snuggly, and simply the most purrfect kitties! Can be carried and LOVE belly rubs already!

These two GORGEOUS beauties are such an amazing pair - sweet as they come! They love each other but will also fast bond to you - loving you like no others. Please help us get them to go to their forever home and show you just how much love a family can give! They are NOT able to go separate so please do not ask.

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered - are fully vaccinated - and up to date on necessary vet care. Some animals that are listed are special needs might have chronic problems that the adopter would cover for future vetting, although this is rare.

More about this rescue

Welcome to Rock N' Rescue! We are a 501c3 cat rescue (and a few dogs!) based in Westchester County NY. Our goal is not only to save the lives of kittens and cats coming from high kill shelters, but to raise awareness of many issues concerning animal welfare. We also have a therapy cat program, providing special cats deemed gentle enough to be able to relieve stress for individuals suffering from illness, PTSD and other stress/trauma in their lives. All of our cats must go to an indoor only home and are not allowed to be declawed (unless they are rescued already declawed). Adopters are encouraged to post happy tales here too!

We also are happy to do custom searches if you are looking for a particular breed/mixed breed of cat or dog!
