Well hello there, nice to meet you! I am Coco, the fairest of all kittens. Sweet, playful and - well look at me, I am just stunning with my beautiful chocolate coat and yellow/green eyes. I do live with other cats and kittens and would love a friend to be with to keep my playfulness under control. I love foil balls and catnip mice. I do not know what dogs are all about but if they are calm and nice I am sure I will be ok around them. Children if they are older and play and pet me will be my best friends. Since we make a lifetime commitment to any animal that comes into our program, we only adopt out animals to people in our area..

If you are interested in adopting a CAWS cat or dog, please fill out the online application at http://www.caws.org/application/, email adopt@caws.org or call 328-4731. For the most timely response applying online is recommended.

We respond as quickly as possible but as we are a volunteer based organization and do not have full time staff, we respond as quickly as possible.

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month

We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
