Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Mickey! This handsome, ginger guy is twelve years young and looking for his new home.
Mickey took a little time to adjust to being in the shelter as he was used to previously being an indoor/outdoor cat but now that he’s had some time to acclimate he’s a very friendly, sweet boy.
During his routine vet check at intake, our vet discovered that he was in need of a dental and that his blood work came back as being FIV positive. Mickey has since had his dental procedure and has bounced back nicely! FIV is currently an incurable feline disease, but it doesn’t mean he can’t live a long, happy life. It is only passed thru deep tissue wounds such as punctures from bites so he can even be adopted into a home with other cats as long as they get along.
AND he’s an adorable polydactyl!
