Meet Buffy! This sensitive soul is looking for a patient adopter that will allow her to come out of her shell at her own pace. She will appreciate a more hands-off approach as she decompresses from the hustle and bustle of the shelter and learns to trust her family. Buffy would likely enjoy and benefit from living in a home with another dog, and she will only be placed with a family with children 10 or older. Primary Color: Yellow Weight: 47.96 Age: 0yrs 10mths 2wks

How to Adopt from Foothills Animal Shelter:
Visit the Shelter or one of our offsite adoption partner locations to find a pet. Once you’ve decided on an animal, you should check with staff to see the status and history of the animal. At this time, you can fill out an adoption application and visit with the animal.
We recommend you bring all family members to the Shelter to meet with the animal before you consider adopting. If you are interested in adopting a dog, bring any household dogs to the Shelter to determine if it is a good match. Also, if you rent your home, please bring the pet policy in your lease or rental agreement and contact information for your landlord.
Once your application is reviewed, you can pay the adoption fees and take your new pet home. It may take some time for your new pet to adjust to its new environment. If you have questions or concerns after adopting, please contact us at 303-278-7575.
