Portia is a brave little girl who was found wandering the streets. She was brought to a local country shelter where they treated her for Parvo virus. She was skin and bones when she came to TGPR, so the goal is to get her back to a normal weight. She has fully recovered and is now ready to meet her family once her hold is up on 10/30/24. TGPR is a 501.c.3 organization dedicated to the protection and rescue of Great Pyrenees in Texas and surrounding areas.

TGPR helps Great Pyrenees that are considered at-risk for physical/mental injury, cruelty and abandonment and that may be subject to euthanasia and inhumane treatment.

We have Great Pyrenees of all different ages. We want to find just the right Pyr for you. We also adopt out of state, so don't hesitate if you aren't in Texas!
