Meet Harley, an 8-year-old sweetheart with a gentle spirit. It is clear by her disposition that this resilient girl has faced challenges, including road rash and an injured foot with nerve damage, but she gets around just fine and proudly sports her dog shoe on walks. Harley is extremely potty trained and crate trained, making her an easy companion at home.

Though she may be a bit broken-spirited, she has a heart full of love and is looking for an understanding home where she can heal. Harley is sweet and gentle, but she does have a strong prey drive—squirrels watch out! While she isn’t suited for a home with cats, she thrives with patience and kindness. If you’re ready to give Harley the loving environment she deserves, she’ll repay you with loyalty and affection.

Neshama Rescue is an all volunteer independent, 501(c)(3) animal welfare and education organization. Our mission is to promote the rescue and adoption of companion animals, with a focus on senior and special needs pets. We believe every soul has intrinsic value and we seek to help communities see that value to create a kinder world. Our goals are to rescue animals from shelters, place them in loving foster homes, and adopt them out to forever homes, as well as strengthen our communities’ education, laws and regulations regarding animal overpopulation and care.
