My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Frank is a super special spunky little boy. He has a condition call Cerebellar hypoplasia (see description at end)
He does not let this slow him down. He runs, plays and acts googy with the other kittens. He loves the dogs and loves people! He will have a long regular life like any other cat, he will just wobble his way through it :). Hes fixed,fully vaccinated, microchipped and FELV/FIV tested and vaccinated.

(Cerebellar hypoplasia is a developmental condition in which the cerebellum of the brain fails to develop properly. The cerebellum is the portion of the brain that controls fine motor skills, balance, and coordination. The condition is not painful or contagious.)

Feel free to email us in regards to any pet you may be interested in! We encourage in-person meetings at the cat or kitten's foster home so you can see how they act in an environment they're comfortable in. We're very responsive and flexible with meeting times. Thank you for your interest!

Founded in 2020, Friends of Felines Rescue initially began in Rio Linda and now proudly serves both Rio Linda and its surrounding areas. Our mission is simple: to tackle cat overpopulation while supporting local communities. We're all about nurturing and protecting our furry friends by providing loving foster homes for orphaned, sick, and injured cats until they're healthy and ready for their forever homes. We're big advocates for spaying and neutering, not just for our beloved pets but also for our community cat colonies. As a volunteer-driven nonprofit, we're dedicated to the art of Trap-Neuter-Return, lending a helping paw by providing free training on trapping, traps for those in need, and information on low-cost surgeries. We rescue kittens and friendly strays, prepping them for loving families. Our aim? Spreading love and care for our cat friends!
