Rusty is a neutered male orange tabby, born on September 17, 2023. He is a Love Bug - total sweetheart! Always head butting, purring, making biscuits. LOVES people…and one cat, his friend Buttons. Otherwise…he’s meaner than a junkyard dog with other cats. Must be only cats in the home. Rusty loves laps, pets, and play. He is Special Needs. He had a rough start in life. Suffering from Stomatitis, an autoimmune disease that attacks the gums, it can hurt to eat. He is doing much better now that almost all his teeth were pulled. Fingers crossed, he is eating wet and dry food well. Rusty does need a cat dad or cat mom who understands autoimmune issues can sometimes flare up - and he may need a dose of steroids or antibiotics. He’s EZ to handle, pick up, trim nails, put in a carrier etc… a real people-pleasing love machine. Rusty and Buttons should be adopted together. Buttons and Rusty are a bonded pair. The adoption fee for Rusty is $5 (his foster mom is covering $20). This covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR, Rabies, flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Go to:
