My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

He's a sweet boy that's obviously gorgeous, dog friendly, and just a little quirky. He came to us with several rectal strictures, at deaths door, but now he's just on stool softener(likely for life) and otherwise a healthy young boy. He's about 2 years old, crate trained, but not quite potty trained. He's a good boy but he needs someone that can give him structure and training. He currently has 2 fosters with "joint custody" that love him a lot but it's a lot of back and forth for him and we'd love for him to have a family of his own that could give him the time that he deserves.

More about this rescue

R&R Boxer Rescue is an all-volunteer 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to providing a life line to dogs at imminent risk of euthanasia at one of our many high kill shelters here in Southern California. These are the seniors, the special medical needs and those that the shelter has deemed rescue only for “behavior.” These dogs were failed by humans on at least one level and deserve a chance to be the dog they were born to be.

As the name suggests, we are primarily a Boxer rescue, but not exclusively. Our mission is simple in words, helping once forgotten dogs complete a family of their own.
