My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ulani, a charming girl who found her way into her rescuer's heart after being discovered at a small airport. From the moment she stepped into her rescuer's home, Ulani made herself right at home. This delightful girl gets along beautifully with other dogs, always eager to play and make new furry friends. She relishes receiving attention and has a special affinity for sitting on laps, blending affection and companionship seamlessly.

While Ulani loves her cuddle time, she also has a playful and energetic side. She requires regular exercise to keep her happy and healthy. At her rescuer’s home, she joyfully ran alongside a golf cart, showcasing her lively spirit and zest for life.

Since arriving at the shelter, Ulani has consistently displayed a wonderful, easy-going attitude, quickly becoming a favorite among the volunteers. Her sweet nature, combined with her love for both human and canine companionship, makes her an all-around endearing companion. Ulani is now eagerly waiting for a forever home where she can continue to bring joy and brighten the lives of her new family.

More about this rescue

Abandoned Animal Rescue is a no-kill dog / cat shelter located in Magnolia serving Northwest Harris and Southern Montgomery Counties in Texas. It is staffed by dedicated volunteers devoted to saving the lives of homeless and unwanted companion animals.

AAR's mission is to work towards ending pet overpopulation that results in the euthanasia of unwanted cats and dogs. We do this by providing a rescue and adoption center, by emphasizing the importance of spaying and neutering and by educating on humane animal ownership. AAR is committed to the emotional, physical, and behavioral well being of each animal in our care.

All animals surrendered to the shelter are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and wormed; dogs are tested for heartworms and, if positive, are treated.

All operating money for AAR comes from
clinic and adoption fees, donations, and fundraisers. AAR receives no government money.
