My name is Murphy!

Murphy is extremely cute and very sweet. He would be a good companion in a situation where he can be around human(s) for most of the day, without needing too much attention, he takes to everyone. He is very sociable on walks and loves to say hi to people, dogs, give them a good sniff!
 
Poodle mix of some kind, he does not shed.

Found at a shelter 2+ years ago, prior history unknown but likely some trauma. At the time estimated 8 years old. Transformed wonderfully in areas such as health, confidence, leash reactivity with dogs since then with positive association methods.


Cons, he sometimes has a fearful / anxious personality and reactive resource guarding that have led to bites on a few occasions with his owner. He also reacts poorly if startled from a rest. He exhibits separation anxiety with extended loud barking when alone.

I am looking for a home where he gets more time around people than I can offer. May require management of environment to avoid reactivity and bite history.
