Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Calm, curious, affectionate
Meet Savage Garden, a handsome raccoon-tailed tabby boy who enjoys the company of both humans and fellow feline friends. Curious and affectionate, this sweetie pie will reward your love with plenty of purrs and snuggles. He will sit next to you for hours, reveling in head scratches. And if you scratch the base of his tail, he will stomp his feet with delight!
Savage Garden has the most beautiful eyes! When he gazes at you, you get the feeling that he can see all the way into your soul. He strikes us as a very wise kitty.
Savage Garden started in the APA! barn cat program, but his affectionate nature quickly showed that he's meant to be a beloved indoor companion. He will be cautious at first, and while he may need a little time to adjust to new surroundings, with patience and love, you'll discover just how sweet and gentle he truly is. He can be rather chatty when he gets to know you, too! And once he has warmed up, he loves to chase wand toys!
He really enjoys being with other cats, and we think he would do best with a nice feline buddy to hang out with and play with in his new home!
The ideal home for Savage Garden is patient and kind as he warms up and settles in, with people who give him lots of affection; we think he'd do well with a cat-experienced kid, too. He would love a kitty condo or another private place to tuck himself into as he gets used to everything new.
Contact us today to meet him!
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
