Take the Pet Home
Kase has come a long way from his terrified beginnings. When he first arrived in his Texas foster home, he was very skittish and didn’t know how to trust humans. But with time, patience, and love, Kase has slowly come out of his shell and learned to play, be affectionate, and feel safe. Though he’s still a bit nervous around strangers, he’s made tremendous progress and is ready to find his forever home.
Kase is a smart little guy, doing well with potty training. He mostly goes outside but is also familiar with using puppy pads indoors. He does great in his crate—no crying or barking—and sleeps through the night from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. without accidents. His routine includes potty breaks, playtime, and naps, and he loves lounging in his foster’s bed for some relaxation.
Rescued from a barn along with his siblings, Kase has been living with three dogs and two cats, keeping active by playing and interacting with his animal companions. He’s used to having friends around, so he’d do best in a home with another playful dog to keep him company. While he might adjust to being an only pet, he thrives on companionship and staying busy with his playmates.
Kase doesn’t bark much—just the occasional playful bark when he’s having fun. He’s still shy at heart and needs a home that can provide him with lots of love, patience, and attention. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, and loving pup who’s made amazing progress, Kase is ready to be part of your family!
Kase is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 11/2/2024 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 5pm and 9pm. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
