My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Matilda is an 8-month-old Maltipoo. I think possibly some terrier. Matilda is a real sweetheart she's learning very quickly. I'd say she's about 90% potty trained she will wake me up during the night of she needs to go out. During the day we're in and out so much that it's not an issue. She's not a real big toy player and doesn't seem to be motivated by treats. But she likes attention and likes to be cuddled on her terms. She needs an active family maybe responsible kids that will play with her. She's learning the leash on a harness. As long as she's got sight of her leader she will stay with you. I'm teaching her sit, so when I feed her morning and evening I have her sit before I put her dish down so she doesn't rush it.
She is starting to learn wait at the door so she doesn't go lunging through, it's a work in progress. She likes to follow my old ladies around but if there were an active dog her size and age it would be good for her. Matilda is a bit fearful of large dogs.
At my groomers she met Cindy's sphynx cat, she was nervous but didn't run away. Should behaved very nicely for my groomer and even sat well while she was clipping her toenails.
Matilda is cautious around new people but doesn't take very long to warm up.
