"Together even the smallest can achieve the greatest goal." -A Bug's Life 🐞🦋🐛
Introducing our tiny but mighty family that we pulled from the Pima County Hoarding case that involved over 100 small dogs! Please welcome Mama Dot, and her 7 beautiful babies that despite all odds have overcome so much and are now quickly growing into their own little personalities… and their spots 😍
This small and beautiful mama was so scared and shut down the day her foster picked her and her babies up from the shelter. They had over 20+ ticks falling off of them during transport on the way home, and even more came off of Dot after she was bathed, many engorged in between her toes. Once bathed, ticks removed, and nails trimmed, she perked up and began to trust right away!
It is clear she has had very minimal human interaction and what experiences she did have must have not been pleasant. Despite this, she is so eager for love and human interaction! Mama Dot now has a favorite human in the house; her foster mama, who she wants to follow around all day! She loves to go for short walks and will never turn away a yummy piece of cheese 💕
The babies are thriving and now officially 5 weeks which means gruel is now being introduced to their diets and they are LOVING it! They wag their tails like crazy when they see humans and other dogs, and even give the cutest little howl to let you know it’s time to eat 😆
They will be looking for foster homes by the end of this month where they’ll need to stay in groups of 2-3 until at least 10 weeks in which they can then go to a foster to adopt home IF that home has a resident dog so they can continue their socialization. They will be ready for adoption either at 12 weeks, or after their alter date, whichever happens last.
Our fosters get all the materials to be successful AND you get the pick of the litter if you wish to adopt. Fostering is the best way to be able to pick the exact pup you want!!
You provide the safety and love, we provide everything else!
