From a staff member 10/23/24: "I happen to be walking through the kennels in the E area and heard Misty barking at me as she leapt around in the kennel. I asked her if she wanted to go outside, her demeanor immediately changed to happy, loose wagging tail, excited eyes and stomping her paws on the ground. She was very, very easy to leash though once out of the kennel, she pulled a bit in excitement as we walked towards the play yard.
Once outside, we played in the concrete play yard for a moment before we decided to go to the furthest play yard.
Misty knew where she wanted to be because once over in the other play yard, she started sniffing, playing and wanting to climb into my lap.
Misty is a very silly dog! You can throw toys until your arm falls off and she STILL won't bring the balls back, nor play tug of war. She showed a bit of interest in the toys, but I think she only liked me because I had a half of chicken mc griddle in my pocket. I gave her a small piece, which she spit out in my lap, ate it again, spit it out again and finally decided she wanted it!
Misty would circle and circle me before wandering off to sniff the yard. I would call her and she would literally dive into my lap for pats and attempted to sneak kisses.
Bouncing around me as I sat on the ground, sneak a lick on my ear before squishing herself in my lap again. Loves belly rubs, chicken and diving in laps.
We walked pass several dogs and no reaction through the fence-Sniffed and walked away.
Very loving dog, walks okay on leash, likes treats and whatever else you have, doesn't play fetch nor with other toys so far, etc.
Perfect dog!
I got some good pictures of Misty before she slid into my lap. Will post the best photo and bloopers on facebook.

On 10/23/24 Misty attended playgroup. She was friendly and social and tolerant throughout her interactions. She had a push/pull playstyle and was good at baiting other dogs into play. She loved being with people and was even paid a visit by the officer who brought her in. Absolute gem!
