My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Angelo, a sweet two-year-old former tom cat found on the street with nasty neck wounds and fractured front canines. He is a gentle spirit with soulful eyes who loves nothing more than curling up in your lap, finding warmth and comfort. His soft, whisper-like meow will quietly capture your heart, making every moment with him feel special.

Angelo is discovering his playful side, learning to chase toys, roll in catnip, and enjoy a little fun. He has a unique way of showing affection and may get a little frisky when you stop petting him. This will ease with love and patience as he learns that affection and care are always there for him.

While Angelo has tested positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), he is healthy, and his future is as bright as any other cat’s

Angelo's adoption fee is already covered, so all he needs now is a forever home where he can truly thrive.

If you're looking for a sweet, soulful companion, Angelo is ready to meet you! The first step is to submit the online adoption application on our website (https://www.fofct.org/adoption-application). Adopters must live within 45 miles of Stamford, CT.

Go meet their pets

We don't have a shelter, but some Friends of Felines' cats and kittens are having sleepovers at Just Cat's in Stamford or in foster homes. Friends of Felines is also proud to announce a new level of partnership with Just Cats Veterinary Hospital, which has been providing veterinary care in our area since 1991. Their brand new facility at 1029 East Main Street in Stamford has an adoption area inside the Just Cats Store on the first level. Come in and visit some of the Friends of Felines cats and kittens that are waiting for adoption. The Just Cats store and adoption area are open from 8 am Monday through Saturday. Following your visit, should any cat or kitten pique your interest, you can fill out an application (available on-line at www.fofct.org).
