I am a very sweet girl! I’ll greet you at the door if I’m not too deep into my nap. I love to be pet along my spine and love cheek scratches. I love to play with my brother Mouse and chase toys and strings, but I also love napping in bed or on top of your laundry.
Favorite place to sleep: I love to lay in bed, preferably on your pillow but maybe next to your feet. If you leave your laundry on a chair you might find me asleep on top of them.
Favorite toys: Anything with strings and bells!!!
Favorite hobbies: Napping, play fighting with Mouse, chasing strings, nibbling fingers.
HOW I CAME TO PGSPCA
I was surrendered from a house where the people were older and very overwhelmed.
DREAM HOME
My dream family would be one with quiet spots for me to nap and hide in, and windows for me to look out of. I am social and love to play with older kids/teenagers. I would love to sleep in bed with you, but any cozy spot with blankets to crawl under would work for me.

All of our adoptions begin with a visit to one of our adoption events. The adoption coordinator and/or the pet's foster parent will review the applications received. The applicant (if any) whose responses best fit the needs of the particular pet will generally be contacted within a week to schedule a home visit. A vet check and personal reference is also required prior to visiting your home. Our non-refundable adoption fee is $250 for dogs, $85 for kittens ($150 for a pair of kittens), and $75 for an adult cat. The fee covers spay/neuter, core vaccines (distemper and rabies), deworming, microchipping, and the general care of the animals. Per our contract, if you cannot keep your adopted pet for any reason, it must be returned to our program. We will try to find it a new home.

The PGSPCA is a nonprofit organization of volunteers dedicated to animal welfare. We are chartered by the State of Maryland, but we receive no state or county funds. Our activities are supported solely by contributions, dues and fundraising events.
We have three main objectives:
• To reduce the number of unwanted litters of dogs and cats through our progressive spay/neuter program – We have altered more than 20,000 animals over the past five years, many of them at no charge;
• To prevent cruelty to animals and all animal suffering through humane education, neglect and cruelty investigations, protective legal action, and an active dog and cat adoption program – We receive about 1,000 calls a month for cruelty investigations, spay and neuter assistance and adoption requests;
• To protect all animals against suffering and abuse through education on legislation affecting the protection of all animals – We regularly educate the public and provide testimony about animal welfare to county and state legislators.
