Here's what the humans have to say about me:
In West Lebanon
Hi, my name is Claymore! I am about 6 months old, and was rescued from a high kill shelter in TX, and transported to New England. My mom was a mini Australian Shepherd, but I don't know my dad. I weigh about 23lbs, but I am still growing. They say I will probably be about 30lbs full grown. I am neutered, up to date in vaccines and microchipped. How's that for a healthy pup! I love meeting new dogs, and people. I will sometimes bark at the dogs, but only because I want to play. I am a super friendly puppy and gentle, whether taking a treat from your hand, or visiting with young children in my foster's neighborhood, Kids are super cool. I just love them.
While I love to play, I also enjoy just relaxing with my foster mom. I love my people and like to be hanging out with them, especially sitting in their laps! I am about 90% potty trained, but might have an accident every now and then. My foster mom says I am super smart, and easy to train. In 15 minutes she taught me how to sit pretty, lay down, and turn around. I love learning new tricks, and would probably do well at agility or trick classes. I am also pretty good on the leash.
I did great at the vets, and when I had a bath! I rolled in the mud when my foster family first got me, so they had to give me a bath, but I didn't mind it at all. Currently I sleep in a crate, but I would very much like to sleep next to my humans. I'm also very confused about that dog in the mirror and like to bark at it. Can someone be my forever family? Maybe a family with kids, or anyone who wants a little lap dog and best friend. I am currently being fostered in New Hampshire. If I sound perfect for you, please fill out the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application
There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to my new furever family and a $125 transport fee which is what the rescue paid to transport me from Texas to New Hampshire.
