Introducing Pterry, the namesake of the pterodactyl crew.
This beautiful girl is looking for a patient adopter who will give her time to adjust. Pterry is still shy, but with time and a little churu will blossom into a wonderful pet. Pterry would love to be adopted with her brother Ptimothy, who she loves dearly, or one of her foster-friends (who will be available soon!). Even though she is shy, Pterry is fairly easy to handle.
Pterry is unique not only in her coloring, but also in her toes. She has extra thumbs on her front paws making her a polydactyl kitty (and the reason for the naming of the pterodactyl crew). Pterry uses those big stompers to play, play, play. She loves to play with springs and other toys, but her favorite is the cat dancer toy.
Because Pterry is shy she would do best in a home with no kids, or older, respectful kiddos. She has not met a dog during her time in foster. If Pterry cannot be adopted with one of her brothers, she would at least need to be adopted into a home with another outgoing and playful cat who can help show her the ropes. She will need a patient adopter who can start her off in one small room at first as she adjusts, and someone who is diligent on keeping up with regular nail trims due to her extra toes.
Pterry is estimated to be about 5.5 months old. She is spayed, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Please apply for this little polydactyl pterodactyl today!

Additional adoption info
We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
