Meet Clyde! This boy was rescued from an outdoor colony of cats when he was about a year old. Clyde started out aloof and wary of humans, but he's made huge progress in the short time he's been with his foster family! He comes out to greet us when we get home, asks for pets by nudging our hands, sleeps at the foot of the bed, and follows us around the house. You would almost never know he wasn't raised a house cat, except for the fact that he still doesn't really like to be picked up.
Clyde is giving us some signs that he might be a cuddly boy at heart, but we can't be sure yet. He's still coming out of his shell and would do great with an adopter who has some patience to help him continue his journey.
At about 1.5 years old, Clyde still has the playfulness of a young cat and likes to chase balls and wand toys. He especially loves his catnip green bean toy. He also loves socks and has been known to swipe them from the laundry to use as pillows! Sometimes he even likes to make his own bed out of soft odds and ends he finds around the house.
Though Clyde has never been in a home with other pets, we think he has potential to do well with them if proper introductions are made and he's given time to adjust. He also has a lot of youthful energy and might appreciate a companion to play with. He may do OK with older, gentle, and cat-savvy kiddos, but young or very loud kids might be a bit too much. Clyde has been neutered, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. Please apply for this handsome house panther today!

We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
