Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bon Jovi is a 2-year-old Chihuahua who's as sweet and soulful as his namesake! This little guy, weighing just 6 pounds, is looking for his forever home where he can be the center of attention and shower his humans with love.
Why Bon Jovi is the Perfect Companion:
Good with everyone: Cats, dogs, and kids!
Gentle and submissive: He's calm when meeting new animals and loves to socialize.
Chill at home: Bon Jovi is a laid-back cuddlebug who sleeps most of the day and adores pets from his humans.
Potty & crate trained: He's almost fully potty trained (just a little leg-lifting post-neuter) and does great with pee pads. He's fine in a crate but prefers snuggling with you.
Low energy & non-destructive: He's not a chewer and doesn't need much exercise-though he'd appreciate some cozy walks (as long as there's no snow!).
Special Considerations:
Bon Jovi is submissive and shakes when anxious in new surroundings. He also has separation anxiety and will cry when left alone. With patience, love, and consistency, this sensitive soul will thrive in a home where someone can give him plenty of reassurance and company.

Our humble mission is to fight for the underdogs! We want to make a meaningful impact one animal at a time through dog rescue. At Simple Girl Doggie Haven, our focus is on dogs that may have physical, medical, or other special needs. Disabilities range from blindness, deafness, poor confidence, aggression, and other forms of disability. We are dedicated to giving these animals the best chance of survival by providing lifesaving medical treatment or training. Our goal in many cases is teaching them to trust, so they can experience what it feels to know love and compassion and, ultimately, to find their furever homes. Won't you help us? Please consider donating, fostering, or adopting. You, too, can make a difference in one doggie's life!
