My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I am CUPCAKE and my sister (Baby) and I - see, we are sisters looking for our forever home. Our names are Baby and Cupcake. We lost our home when our mom died from cancer. The family could not take us in, so they reached out to rescues for help. A Lab for Life stepped up and found a foster family for us.

Me and my sister are like two peas in a pod - we love each other, so much. My foster mom says the two of us together is like having one dog. We love to play with toys and are good with other dogs and kids. We love to go for walks, are great on a leash, and also love to just sit on the couch and watch movies with our human friends.

Our foster mom wrote you all a note: "These two girls touched my heart when I heard they needed a foster. I have cancer and wanted to help from transition to a new family and to heal their hearts from their loss. They are the most happiest labs I have fostered. They bring a smile to you, every time you see them. They love to carry toys, a dish towel or really anything in their mouths. It is so cute. I know that most families that want to adopt a dog only want one. Please give these two girls a chance at making your family a wonderful member of your family. They are housebroken and do not need to be crated when you leave the house. They love toys and just spend time with you. I hope you are the one who can complete their journey to their forever home."

More about this rescue

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.

ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
