My name is HAYZEL!

You’ve been looking for love, and here I am! My name is Haysel, and I’m a 4-year-old Husky mix who’s as sweet as can be. I came all the way from Louisiana, rescued right before a hurricane, and now I’m looking for my forever family.

I have the prettiest ice-blue eyes and the cutest freckles, if I do say so myself. Every morning, I’ll greet you with kisses in exchange for pets – it’s our special little routine. Oh, and I love to play! Toys are my favorite, especially outside ones, where we can play keep-away. I’m also pretty clever when it comes to getting treats from my treat ball!

I love going for walks, and I’ve mastered all kinds of terrain. I’ll jump over fallen trees, weave around fence posts and stroll through tall grass like it’s nothing. I think I’d make a great hiking buddy if you’re up for adventures! I’m also a good passenger in the car, so road trips are no problem. When it’s time to relax, I’m right there with you – I’ll nap when you nap, and I’ll sleep through the night without making a peep.

I’m happiest around my humans, and while I haven’t been around other pets (except a horse I sniffed with no reaction), I’m sure I’ll settle in just fine. I do have a couple of quirks – kennels aren’t really my thing, and I sometimes need a little help when it comes to chewing, but with some guidance, I know I can be my best self.
