SIMON NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!
Come meet Simon and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (Nov. 3rd) from 12-3 pm at the Petsmart in Alexandria (3351 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22305)!
Name: Simon Best Guess for Breed: Lab mix
Best Guess for Age: 7 months as of October 2024 SEX: Male
Estimated Weight: 37 lbs as of 10/14/24; he is still growing.
Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested if you have them.
Currently Living at: DC area foster home.
Simon is Looking For: His forever home. This cutie is really just a big older puppy! He hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet and is eager to have his own humans for romps in parks and all the adventures they can dream up, and make lots of people and pup pals along the way. Exploring all the toys to see which he likes best sounds great too, And he's excited to go to dog school so he can show how super smart he is! He already knows how to say 'Simon says give Simon treats' with just one happy tail wag.
Most of all, though, he wants to be a well-loved dog for all his days. In exchange he promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship. What do you say? Does that sound like a good deal to you?
What My Foster Says About Me: Simon has been good with me-he's a super sweet guy. He's good in his crate (altho does not love). He's a great balance between energetic and chilling. He LOVES people and wants to greet everyone and get pats. Good in the dog park-likes to play with dogs that are his size and smaller. He's a bit intimidated by the bigger dogs but gets used to them. He's quite the perfect size-not too big, not too little and just a really good boy that would love to be at home with you.
Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, spay/neuter, and transport from the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online bit.ly/adoptaluckydog
