Hi, my name is Gunner. I am a seven month old male Yorkie. I came from Oklahoma with several other pups. Don't let my size fool you. I am a speed demon when I run around the yard and I LOVE it so I really need a fenced yard and dog in my forever home. I love to play with the bigger dogs in my foster home. I am learning to play with toys. I am doing great with potty training. I enjoy hanging out with my foster Mom and foster siblings. I am just a happy guy looking for a great forever home. If you are looking for a fun, loveable and CUTE pup, please fill out an application so we can meet!All adoptions are $300 per dog for puppies under 1 year, $250 for adults 1 - 9 years old and $150 for senior dogs which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots.
Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $150 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.

Forever Home Dog Rescue is dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals primarily from high-kill shelters.
In working with committed volunteers, temporary care homes and local veterinarians, we are able to rescue dogs, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes. All our rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and have all necessary veterinary care.
We were formed in January 2014 and are a non-profit organization in central Iowa. We are pending our official 501c3 status. We receive no government funding and rely completely on donations.
