My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Mayden, born May 5, 2024 (that’s Cinco de Mayo so you can always remember my birthday).  I am a very talkative rambunctious Tabby little boy. I often get confused for my twin brother. We look alike except I have two stripes to define my eyes and chin.  I am sassy but loyal and loving , and VERY talkative. I really need a forever home that doesn't mind chitter chatter all day long. If you’ll listen to my stories I’ll always be around to listen to yours. I’ll even answer when you ask me a question. We won’t understand each other at first, but that’s ok, we will get there, I’ll have you speaking cat in no time. Please remember I’m a kitten so be sure I have a scratch post or cardboard scratchers. I  LOVE TREATS! I’ve been trained to understand that if you give me a treat when you’re going out the door,  you will be  returning at some point to give me another treat. I grew up with a dog, some older cats, and fish. I have been taught that I am allowed to look but not harm and to always be gentle. I have not yet experienced children or babies- but don’t overlook me because of that! I mean how hard could they be? Small humans are cute and cuddly! I can be taught to not fear loud noises like Firecrackers, vacuums, garbage disposals as long as I know their source .  Just say "loud noises" and then kindly show me where they are coming from, then they aren’t so scary.  Well- except the doorbell- Why can't I find that darn ding dong? I like to always get kisses at bedtime and hugs in the morning. Sometimes at night I find it difficult to get settle in, because that’s when I miss my mom, who used to cuddle me at night. A soft fuzzy blanket that I can knead and suck on helps. Of course if there’s another pet I can snuggle with, that’s great too. I also like being groomed, except for having my teeth brushed- I’m not a fan of that, but I’m learning. Oh yea, I’m also neutered, dewormed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $160. Just pick me already! You know you want to!

More about this rescue

We are a no kill, nonprofit 501C3, foster based rescue organization focused on cat rescue and cat adoption. All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, dewormed, current on vaccines, tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped, and are vet checked prior to going to their new forever homes. We provide care, comfort, love, and socialize our kitties, while working to vet adopters and find our kitties the perfect forever homes.
