My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Perdita!

Weight: 50 lbs

Sweet Perdita is eager to find her forever home, Perdita is looking for a low foot traffic household, where she can have lots of snuggles and love. She is quickly won over by pets and snacks (cheese is the way to her heart.) Perdita recently had a litter of puppies and came into us after they had found their homes - she is ready to retire from 24/7 mom duties and eager to fill into her new position of professional treat taker and attention grabber.

Perdita has lived with male dogs, and we believe she'd be best matched with male canine companions - we'd like her to meet any potential canine siblings prior to going home. As for felines, this will all be determined on the feline in home and their experience with dogs and the space in home to offer slow, proper introductions. She would not be a good match for a feline that has never lived with dogs before. Our staff will be happy to discuss what this means with potential adopters.

Perdita found love in her previous home with the kiddos, and did great with them - Having some kiddos to snuggle with would be really great for her, but again looking for that calmer, low foot traffic household! We know with time Perdita will be an excellent companion to her family, she's ready to really settle down and stop being bounced around, is Perdita the one for you?
