Sadie Local is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home!
Must have another confident dog at home and a fully fenced yard. Applications that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.
Meet Sadie, a shy yet sweet Poodle in need of a patient, understanding adopter to help her blossom. Sadie prefers women and will thrive in a home with a confident dog companion to show her the way. A secure, fenced yard is a must, as she loves playing with other dogs and feels most comfortable in a safe space. Sadie is house-trained and, with the right support, will grow into a loyal and loving companion. If you’re ready to offer Sadie the time, care, and gentle guidance she needs, she could be the perfect addition to your home.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Submitting an adoption application is free and is the best way to show that you are interested in a specific pet!

2.
Interview

An adoption coordinator will contact you by email within 48 hrs to set up an interview and go over your application

Home Check

Virtual Home Check

4.
Approve Application

Once your application is approved, you will receive a pre-approval letter which is valid for 6 months as you search for the perfect pet!

5.
Meet the Pet

We provide meet and greets for pre-approved applicants and their families.

Sign Adoption Contract

Additional adoption info

An application with vet/landlord reference check and virtual home visit is required.

The adoption donation amount of $550 is fully refundable if the dog you choose is not the right fit for your family within the first seven (7) days. Every dog is fully vetted, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped with lifetime registration.
