Well, here she is hoping "third time is a charm"- our girl Storm. Storm has quite the history- we found out she is 29% Husky, 21% Am Pit, 14% Boxer, 5% Chow-chow, and 5% Am Staffy- mix. She was born 1/9/23, currently weighs around 40 pounds (she is working on gaining), and wants nothing more than her forever home. Storm joined us at only weeks old- she became old enough for a spay and was adopted shortly after then returned once the family was done with summer vacation and Storm didn't have anyone home. Fast forward- Storm was adopted again- returned due to her getting into trouble being left home alone while her next person was at work. So, Storm has come to teach us she needs 1 of 2 things: Option 1- a home where there is someone around nearly 24/7 or Option 2- a home where she has other dogs to find comfort from- there can be no budge from those in her eyes.
Storm has a ton of love, is super soft, very loyal, loves to run and play with other dogs, and finds comfort in having dogs or a person in eyeshot at all times. Storm is potty trained, knows a few basics, is a breeze on a leash, and is crate trained- but can be a stubborn Husky about coming when first called. She will tell you she is ready for bed by going straight toward "her spot" and pacing until you cave. She has done well meeting dogs of all sizes at meet and greets, children, and does not bother cats. She really is an amazing dog when she is allowed to shine- so if you believe you have that spot for her, follow our link below and find the required ADOPTION APPLICATION to begin the process of welcoming her home.
**PLEASE NOTE: Applicants must live within an hour radius of Toledo, OH
*Storm is spayed, microchipped, current on shots, and on monthly heartworm/flea prevention.
*Her adoption fee has been reduced to $150.00 due to her long-stay status and hopes for a home for Christmas 2024
*Visit our website link below and find the required ADOPTION APPLICATION to give our sweet girl, Storm, a chance at a forever home.

Additional adoption info
Dogworks strives to place dogs into permanent homes based on the dogs' personalities and yours. To adopt a dog, we require a completed application, approved vetting, signed adoption contract, and home visit.
Adoption applications are available on our website (www.dogworksohio.com) and at all Meet & Greets. Once your application has been submitted, we will contact your references and consider suitability. You will be contacted by phone or email, typically within 4 business days, to discuss arrangements for adoption contract and home visit.
Adoption fees are variable (typically $125-$250) and are listed with the description of each dog. Adoption fee will be refunded if you decide that the dog is not compatible with your family within 2 weeks.
Adopted dogs must be returned to Dogworks in the event that they can no longer remain a member of your household for any reason.
All dogs have been updated on vaccines and tested for heartworm prior to adoption. Adult dogs and puppies older than 14 weeks are spayed/neutered. Adopters of younger puppies are required to sign an agreement to complete spay/neuter by 6 months of age. We will assist with spay/neuter costs. Adopters will receive a copy of medical records.
