My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Romeo and I was dropped off by the local animal control so my history is a mystery. My new friends don't know how I'll do with small children yet but I did come in with two other dogs so they think I'll do good with big and little dogs! I absolutely LOVE to play ball, I will carry my ball with me wherever I go. I love pets and attention and I would love to cuddle, after we play of course! I would love to be your loyal friend for the rest of my life! But before you take me home, please make sure that you have the proper time, space, and resources to care for me for the rest of my life!

More about this shelter

Companions Animal Center is a non-profit organization funded exclusively by donations and grants. Every day we receive numerous homeless animals. We shelter, feed, and provide medical care for these animals while searching for loving homes for them.

As a "No-Kill" shelter, animals who are in our facility do not face a "be adopted quick or else" ultimatum but rather are cared for until they can be placed.

Our Mission - is to focus all of our efforts and resources toward directly benefiting the quality of life for all abandoned or mistreated pets with the ultimate goal of finding each one a loving household in which to share their lives.
