When we fostered Teddy (Ted Mosby), we didn't go through a rescue. Instead, we told a friend that we would foster him, get him neutered and chipped, and find him a home. Unfortunately, we have some upcoming medical procedures that won't allow us to keep a large, teenage dog, and they're coming up quickly.
Teddy is a 74lb 11-12 month old mix of German Shepherd, Australian Shepherd, pit, and another 9 breeds. He's a gorgeous beast and we've started him with training. He's come a long way since June after being left on the street in 102 deg.
Teddy is wicked smart. He's a super confident dog, medium drive, non aggressive (but protective) and trains easily. He's a rambunctious, fun dog that will need time and space to adjust and a firm leader to lead him. Ideally, he will be looking for a home without children or other pets, for now- and a home with a fenced in yard. He needs to live with someone who can take the time to work with him on stranger and other dog skills.
