My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**COURTESY POST**

Hello Nice Peoples my name is Rufus!

No one really knows my back story, just that I was dumped by an evil person on the side of a mountain where I managed to survive for WEEKS.

Some super nice Ladies saw me and tried and tried and TRIED until one day they managed to capture me and that was one of the best days of my life, I didn't have to worry about packs of coyotes, mountain lions, etc and I was finally fed a REAL MEAL.

They took me to the shelter in case somehow I got loose/lost so my owners could find me.

NO. ONE. EVER. CAME.

I got lucky because this rescue knew my story of how I lived in those hills ALONE and now I was at the pound while we are having a major shelter crisis, so they bailed me out of jail-yahoooooo!!!!

They took me to a vet to get treated and then off to training so I can be the BEST DOGGO!

I'm a 1-2 year old male Cane Corso and I have the most stunning brindle coat, I'm fixed, microchipped, and up to date on shots too!

I need to gain a few pounds and I will end up being around 100 pounds so if Big Boys are your thing maybe we are a good fit??

Plus, I've been professionally trained and am crate and potty trained too!

The rescue is still getting to know me so right now I'd be best as the only doggo in the house and no small pets or small kids.

I also could use a foster home in the Studio City/Sherman Oaks area if you think you can help me by adopting or fostering please reach out to doghousebullycrew@gmail.com and put RUFUS in the subject line or text 661-388-8704

I am excited to find my new HOME!

PS I am in the SoCal area-sorry but my rescue does NOT adopt out of state

More about this rescue

Our Mission
To Rescue. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing Bullies and their other Buddy Breeds in Southern California.
Whether you are a lifetime advocate of Pit Bulls or new to our cause, we invite you to join us. Get Involved with fostering, volunteering, and sharing all of our adoptable loving dogs.
Rescuing is a Way of Life
Through training, love and patience, we have come to know and love each and every dog we've rescued as if they were ours. They're all little angels and we want them to succeed.
For this reason, we pledge to never take on more dogs than we can properly care for, exercise, train and bring to our dog adoptions.
