I’m as sweet as I am stylish--and that’s saying a lot. With my sleek black fur and glowing yellow-orange eyes, I’ll turn heads wherever I go. But I’m not just a pretty face—

I'm also a snuggle bug, a lap-sitter extraordinaire, and a hall-racing champion.

My charm can win over anyone-other cats, dogs, kids, even crazy people who think they don't like cats. And if you want to win me over, my stomach is the fastest way to my heart- do you relate? As much as I love humans, I’d really thrive best in a home with other cats to play with. I’ve got a little sister, Adora. She’s just as sweet and fun as I am (if not sweeter, but don’t tell her I said that). We’re basically the total package—double the love, double the purrs, double the fun. We’re both independent enough to shine on our own-- but settle for one perfect kitten when you can have us both?

Our adoption fees:

Cats range from $150 to $175. Exotic breeds may be more.

Dogs range from $250 to $350. High demand puppies and small dogs may be more.

This fee includes: felv/fiv/heartworm testing, worming, flea and ear mite treatments, age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, lab work, dental or other medical or surgical treatments as deemed necessary by our team of veterinarians and a microchip with free registration.

Additional adoption info

We ask when you are interested in a pet, you first fill out an adoption application. If your application is approved, you then may meet the pet you would like to adopt. Once you are ready to take your pet home, you will be asked to complete the adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee.

Adoption fees for kittens/cats are $75 - $125.

Adoption fees for puppies/dogs are $200 - $300.

Adoptions are held most weekends at Petco in Fenton and Petsmart in Sunset Hills.

You may also arrange to meet a pet outside of adoption event hours.

More about this rescue

St. Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities and other neglect situations.

We do not have a facility. All of the pets we rescue are in loving foster homes. Foster homes provide love, care training, and, if needed, rehabilitation to the pets. This also allows the pet to be more adjusted when they enter their forever home since they are used to a home environment (versus a kennel at the pound).
