Hi, I’m Adora-- your adorable new obsession. I’m sleek, black, and have these big, captivating yellow-orange eyes my people say make me look like a cartoon character. I may be on the smaller side, but don’t let that fool you—I'm all main-character energy! I’m also the ultimate snuggle bug who loves laps and naps curled up as close to your face as possible.
I’ve got my playful side, too—zoomies are kind of my thing, and I’m a blast to watch. I’m brave and bold (first of my litter to crawl into a lap, thank you very much), but also sweet as can be. I get along well with other cats, and I’m open to learning the ropes with kids or dogs. I would be happiest if there was at least one other cat I could zoom around with.
Oh, and I’m a sucker for tube treats. Seriously, bring those out, and I’m yours.
Now, I do have a sister, Catra, who’s just as purr-fect as me. We don’t have to go together, but let’s be honest, two kittens are always better than one. Ready to make me (or us) a part of your home? Our adoption fees:
Cats range from $150 to $175. Exotic breeds may be more.
Dogs range from $250 to $350. High demand puppies and small dogs may be more.
This fee includes: felv/fiv/heartworm testing, worming, flea and ear mite treatments, age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, lab work, dental or other medical or surgical treatments as deemed necessary by our team of veterinarians and a microchip with free registration.

St. Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities and other neglect situations.
We do not have a facility. All of the pets we rescue are in loving foster homes. Foster homes provide love, care training, and, if needed, rehabilitation to the pets. This also allows the pet to be more adjusted when they enter their forever home since they are used to a home environment (versus a kennel at the pound).
