ABOUT MARYBEL
We love a playful pup! Meet our 1.5 year terrier mix, Marybel. Her previous owners surrendered her when they had too many pets. They were heartbroken to surrender her, but hoped someone could give her the love she deserves! She has previously lived with children and other dogs. Marybel is currently enjoying time away from the shelter with her foster family.
Here is what her foster mom says about life with her: "A day with Marybel starts with morning snuggles and greetings. She mostly hangs out by me as I work from home throughout the day, and loves to get to run around the backyard during my breaks. After school the kids come home and get their love greetings and they will play out in the backyard with her. She LOVES the tennis balls! She is a powerful runner and loves to play with all her toys and even buubles. In the evening, she might rest alongside the family enjoying her Benebone or seek out pets and snuggles."
This dog is in foster care, so you will have to schedule an appointment to come in and meet Marybel. If you are interested in adopting her, please submit an adoption questionnaire. We will then get you in contact with our Foster Coordinator to set up a meet and greet appointment. Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog, but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
