Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Layla
Layla is a mixed breed dog, maybe with some rat terrier, about two years old and about 17 pounds, found pregnant in a kill shelter in Texas and transferred to Maryland. She has the best personality in the world, so loving and sweet, and such a good girl. Her babies are almost ready for adoption and Layla is now too.
Adopter will need to bring her to our vet in Columbia, Md on Wednesday Nov 13 or Thursday Nov 21 to be spayed (at our cost of course).
PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing and using the “contact us” link is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog. Petfinder inquires are not sent to us.
The adoption fee is $425, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative and spay/neuter. All of our dogs will be microchipped.
APPLY AT ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG (click on the word "Adopt" at top of page to find the dropdown menu with application)
Because our dogs are in foster homes, applications are required prior to setting up any appointments. Calling or emailing may delay your consideration. Find our application on our website, almosthomedogs.org, then click on "Adopt" tab at top
We are a non profit no kill 501 (c)3 rescue. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging. Currently check, cash or venmo is preferred payment
