My name is Julia!

Julia was adopted as a kitten and kept in a windowless basement for her entire life. I took her in after her family no longer wanted her. She was in a chaotic environment, never around other cats, and was pushed around by their children, so she developed some defensive behaviors, like scratching when feeling threatened. I have gotten her veterinary care and had her spayed, and while she continues to display disorganized attachment behaviors, she has a lot of potential to be a wonderful lap cat. She enjoys cuddling and is very chatty but is easily overwhelmed, so the right home for her would be calm and predictable, so she can continue to heal.
