My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Baby

About two months ago, this sweet little (then) 10 week old baby found himself abandoned at a Dollar Tree, emaciated at just 8lbs and so weak that he needed a blood transfusion that night He was full of parasites and so malnourished that his legs were buckling at the wrists One of our Vizsla-loving foster homes, immediately took him in and has nursed and snuggled him back to health

Around that time, an identical puppy was dumped in the next county and taken in by the local Vizsla rescue. So we can't prove that he's a Vizsla, but he sure looks and acts like one!

He was named ET by the shelter for "extra toes because he has an extra toe on his back feet. He responds to the name "Baby though and is now 4 months old and 24lbs. He is the most cuddly, snuggly, baby you've ever met. He is equally food and soft blanket obsessed. Like all Vizslas, he loves burrowing in blankets and dog beds (can someone please order him a cozy cave?). If you wrap him in a soft blanket, he's asleep in 5 seconds. There's nothing he loves more
However, he also LOVES other dogs and has started learning how to run and wrestle with them. He walks great on a leash, sleeps in a crate every night and is still working on house-training. He also loves sunbathing

This sweet baby is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and will be neutered. His adoption fee is $600 and he is in Odessa/Tampa.

More about this rescue

We are a non-breed specific dog rescue group, although we do tend to take in mostly large and extra-large breeds, and especially those in the hunting / sporting groups.

Love for Paws exists to protect and advocate for dogs in our community through responsible adoption, the donation of supplies and veterinary care to those in need, by assisting in the effort to limit the overpopulation of these animals and by promoting kindness and healthy opportunity for life.
